Academic and Professional Proofreading: Rates and Policy
Content is important, but so is presentation, accuracy and coherence. It is extremely important to write without mistakes. Making mistakes reflects badly on the writer, whether within a school paper, a resume or an important email. In order to avoid mistakes proofreading is vital. It is the final stage of the editing process, where one polishes the veneer of language and rubs out surface errors in diction, grammar or punctuation. Proofreading can make the difference between making a sale and losing a customer; between succeeding and failing in the job market; between passing and failing.

I provide professional document editing and proofreading. I edit essays, short stories, poems, novels, websites, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, memos, business plans, and other professional documents in a variety of writing styles: APA, Chicago (Turabian), CSE, and MLA. Formats preferred include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Portable Document Files (PDF), and Rich Text Files (.rtf). I am fast and detail-oriented.

Policy

1. Payment––Payment for each paper must be received via Paypal before the proofed paper is returned you. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

2. Payment must be made via Paypal unless the client is already a student. In that case, specifics will be worked out in advance of the proofing.
